When:
At 5:00 on Sunday afternoon, July 5th, the ladies of Father’s House will host our annual 4th of July Father’s House Celebration. This is always a fun family time. Proceeds go towards scholarships for our Fall Ladies Retreat. (Note the time change from previous years. It will be cooler at 5:00!)
Featuring:
Hot dogs, hamburgers, beans, chips, drinks, and desserts!
Dessert contest—all ages and genders may participate.
4th of July Kid’s Parade of Colors (red, white, and blue costumes, bikes, wagons, etc. Be creative!)
Face painting, snow cones, a jump house, slip-and-slide and old fashion games such as a diaper derby, watermelon eating contest, water balloon games, races, and a tug of war through the sprinklers!
Bring:
Your own lawn chairs, shade covers (if you have one), your entry for the Kid’s Parade of Colors if interested, and something for the Dessert Contest, if you choose to enter. Cost: $6.00 for adults and teens, $4.00 for kids (0 to 2 years are free), and the family rate is $25.00 for a single family of 6 or more. (The family rate includes the parents and their own children who are under 18.) Snow cones are also available really cheap! Please buy your tickets in June so we know how much food to provide!
(Please note that taking the poll below does not sign you up, it just gives us an idea of who’s coming.)
